This Privacy Policy explains how Bidwerk collects, uses, shares, and protects information when customers request vehicle repair or towing bids and when service providers use Bidwerk to review and submit bids.

1. Information We Collect

Bidwerk may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, account details, vehicle information, repair or towing request details, comments, uploaded photos, selected service categories, preferred service radius, and communication preferences.

For service providers, we may collect business name, contact information, shop location, service areas, accreditation or approval documents, bid details, subscription status, and payment-related account information.

When you use location-based features, such as “Use My Location,” towing pickup and destination fields, or provider search by radius, Bidwerk may process location information to help match requests with nearby service providers.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, process repair and towing requests, identify nearby providers, allow providers to submit bids, display bids in the customer dashboard, help customers select a provider, connect customers with selected shops, improve platform performance, prevent misuse, and support customer service.

We may also use information to review provider applications, verify provider eligibility, manage subscriptions, send transactional emails, provide important account notices, and improve Bidwerk’s services.

3. How Information Is Shared

Bidwerk shares request information with service providers so they can review opportunities and submit bids. This may include vehicle details, service category, description, photos, approximate location or service area, towing pickup and destination information, and other details needed to evaluate the request.

When a customer selects a bid, Bidwerk may share contact and request details between the customer and the selected provider so the service can be coordinated.

We may also share information with service vendors who help us operate Bidwerk, such as payment processors, email providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, mapping/location services, authentication providers, and security tools.

Bidwerk does not sell personal information as part of its business model.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

Provider subscriptions and payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Bidwerk does not store full credit card numbers. Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy and security practices.

5. Photos and Vehicle Information

Customers may upload vehicle photos to help providers evaluate a request. Uploaded photos should only include information relevant to the vehicle issue. Customers should avoid uploading images that contain unrelated people, documents, license information, payment cards, or other sensitive personal information.

6. Location Information

Bidwerk uses location information to support nearby provider search, service radius filtering, repair shop matching, towing pickup and destination setup, and request routing. Location information is used to operate the service and is not sold.

You may be able to control browser or device location permissions through your browser or device settings.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Platform Data

Bidwerk may use cookies, analytics tools, logs, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, protect the platform, understand usage, improve page performance, diagnose errors, and measure the effectiveness of features.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

Bidwerk keeps information for as long as needed to operate the platform, maintain business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and improve service quality.

10. Your Choices

You may update account information, manage communication preferences, control browser location permissions, and contact Bidwerk to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information, subject to legal, security, and operational limits.

11. Children’s Privacy

Bidwerk is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we may notify users through the platform, by email, or by updating the date at the top of this page.
