Bidwerk is completely free for customers. There are no fees to submit a request or accept a bid. You only pay the service provider for the actual repair or towing work.

Simply visit our home page, select your service type (Auto Repair or Towing), provide your vehicle information and location, describe the issue, and optionally upload photos. Your request will be sent to local providers immediately.
How long does it take to receive bids?
Most requests receive bids within a few hours. The timeframe can vary based on the service type, location, and time of day. You'll receive notifications as bids come in.
Am I required to accept a bid?
No. There's absolutely no obligation to accept any bid. Review your options carefully and only choose a provider when you're comfortable with the price and terms.
How do I choose the best bid?
Compare bids based on price, provider ratings, distance from your location, estimated timeline, and any notes the provider has included. Consider both cost and quality when making your decision.
What happens after I accept a bid?
Once you accept a bid, your contact information is shared with the provider. They'll reach out to schedule the service and answer any final questions you may have.
Can I message providers before accepting a bid?
Yes! You can communicate with providers through the platform to ask questions, request clarification, or discuss details before making your decision.
What if I don't receive any bids?
If you don't receive bids within 24-48 hours, try adding more details or photos to your request, or expand your service area. You can also contact our support team for assistance.
Are the service providers verified?
Yes. All providers on Bidwerk go through a verification process. We also display customer ratings and reviews to help you make an informed choice.
Can I cancel a request after submitting it?
Yes, you can cancel a request at any time before accepting a bid. Once you accept a bid, you'll need to work directly with the provider regarding any cancellation.
What types of services can I request?
Bidwerk currently supports auto repair services (engine, brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.) and towing/recovery services. We're constantly expanding our service categories.

Can I decline a request?
Absolutely. You're never obligated to bid on any request. Only submit bids for work you're confident you can complete at the price and timeline you specify.
How do I set my service area?
During registration and in your account settings, you can specify the geographic areas you serve. You'll only receive requests from customers within your designated service area.
What happens if a customer accepts my bid?
You'll receive an immediate notification and the customer's contact information. Reach out promptly to schedule the service and finalize any details. The customer is expecting your call!
Can I update my bid after submitting it?
You can contact the customer through the platform to discuss adjustments, but formal bid modifications may be limited. It's best to ensure your initial bid is accurate.
How does payment work?
Payment is handled directly between you and the customer. Bidwerk does not process payments or take a percentage of the transaction. You maintain full control over your pricing and payment terms.
How can I improve my profile and get more bids?
Maintain complete profile information, respond quickly to requests, provide detailed bids, deliver quality service that earns positive reviews, and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
What if a customer doesn't show up or cancels?
While we encourage customers to honor accepted bids, cancellations can happen. Contact our support team if you experience repeated issues with a particular customer.
Can I offer promotions or discounts?
Yes! You can include promotional pricing or special offers in your bids. Many providers use strategic pricing to attract new customers and build their reputation on the platform.

We encourage direct communication to resolve issues. If a dispute cannot be resolved, contact our support team. While we facilitate connections, the service agreement is between the customer and provider.
Can I use Bidwerk for commercial vehicles?
Yes! Bidwerk supports both personal and commercial vehicle repair and towing requests. Simply provide the relevant vehicle information when submitting your request.
